About Me
I have always been fascinated by the mystery of ceremony and the cycles of life, both in our bodies and in the world, so it was only natural that I would follow my interest and become a shiatsu practitioner, doula, belly dance teacher, Birthing From Within mentor, menstruality mentor, and mother.
I started my training as a shiatsu practitioner in 1995, and after working in drug rehab and travelling the world I received my shiatsu diploma in 2005. I have also completed a post graduate shiatsu in maternity care course with Suzanne Yates of Wellmother.
I have been a belly dancer for over 20 years, and teach belly dance for pregnancy and birth. I am also a doula (non medical birth support) and have been supporting women and babies since 2002.
I am a graduate of the Women's Quest apprenticeship training with Alexandra Pope, and am a mentor on her online menstruality training at the Red School.
At the beginning of 2016 I completed the 4 Seasons Journey with the School of Shamanic Womancraft and I weave these shamanic insights into all my work with women.
My most important work of all is being the mother of two daughters, I hope that they will be as inspired by women's cycles as I am as they grow into their womanhood.
